Another poll on religion shows how terribly misinformed church people in America are about what they and others are supposed to believe! That alone reflects the spiritual deadness in the USA even though there are so many who say they believe in God. Some even think a revival is coming. America is truly a mission field in itself! For those of us who wisely believe and know the Biblical message, the following statistics are surprising:religious poll

Doctrines don’t grab us. Only 55% of Catholic respondents knew the core teaching that the bread and wine in the Mass become the body and blood of Christ, and are not merely symbols. Just 19% of Protestants knew the basic tenet that salvation is through faith alone, not actions as well.

Basic Bible eludes us. Just 55% of all respondents knew the Golden Rule isn’t one of the Ten Commandments; 45% could name all four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). (http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/religion/2010-09-28-pew28_ST_N.htm?csp=34news)

COMMENT 1: While it might be true that the poll question to Catholics is about their communion being allegedly changed by the priest, it is too bad that the questions didn’t include if they are supposed to worship the communion wafer (Eucharist) as God, because they are! religious pollThat is the official doctrine of present-day Catholicism and it emanates idolatry unlike anything else under the banner of Christianity! On that point alone, Catholicism is discredited.

Another fact about Catholicism is they think the command to not misuse God’s name (Ex. 20:7) is also violated when someone would misuse Mary’s name! (The Mary of Catholicism is a fabricated myth and rival of Jesus.)

COMMENT 2: How this poll lumped all of the Protestants (non-Catholics) together is disturbing. Furthermore, one of the primary differences between Catholics and non-Catholics in the Papacy. Catholics think Peter was the first pope. The facts about true salvation and action are, a saving faith in Jesus will ALWAYS have corresponding good works and holy living with it. We are saved by such a faith which produces holy living. It is also a trusting, submitting and obeying faith IN JESUS. Turning from sin is included in initial salvation and a saving faith in Jesus, which brings about a new creation in Christ, can be destroyed (2 Tim. 2:18), become shipwrecked (1 Tim. 1:19) and cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; Rom. 11:20-23). Hence, we must HOLD ON. There are requirements for eternal life and there is much more than just Romans 10:9,10! Too bad the poll never got to those specifics.

Finally, over the decades that I have been witnessing to people, I have often brought up points about their own religion, which they are supposed to believe, but didn’t even know! Some of the blame falls on their spiritual leaders, who are ill-equipped and should not be there, but if one is humbly seeking God’s truth from the Bible he will find it (Mt. 7:7). God bless you.

Adultery Then Sudden Destruction

Adulterous affairs—they happen far too frequently in this wicked world to the shame and hurt of all involved. Jesus said it was an adulterous generation and many are acting it out. wayne hamiltonRecently, both a married adulterer (Wayne Hamilton, a deejay who went by Captain Barkey pictured to the right) and his adulterous partner (Tracy Bennett) of five years were looking at a loaded gun after leaving a seedy motel around 3:10 AM in the Bronx. Sudden destruction came to each! They probably thought they got away with their sin again, but they were not even secretive enough to hide it from the woman’s ex-boyfriend (the killer), much less God! After the murderer (Joseph Kernizan) committed his crimes, he later committed suicide when the police found him in Miami! That double murder suicide equals a horrendous way for three souls to enter eternity. God said:

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

Take warning and learn a lesson from what happened to Wayne Hamilton and Tracy Bennett! When the devil tempts you to sin, he will NEVER tell you the possible sudden destruction associated with sin.

… you may be sure that your sin will find you out. (Num 32:23)

Much worse than the death of three people is the way they spiritually departed from this life. Don’t follow the crowd to hell. BTW, Captain Barkey was warned by his mother (Sister Clarke in the following article) about his adultery!

Sister Clarke recalls regular ‘reasoning’ sessions with Barkey. It was during one of those sit-downs that she advised him against the relationship which eventually cost him his life.

I’ve Never Learned to Kill the Flesh

[Bible Question] Please help. I’ve had a lot of personal “Christian” experiences. I’ve been taught a lot on holiness and know my Bible well – I’ve never learned to kill the flesh. careless wordsMy husband is right that we are not Christians. We are Christianeze. We only listen to godly music and monitor what comes into our home, although loosely. I know the difference between the sand and the rock teachings and don’t accept most teachers as true – I have 82 people on facebook who I have listed as Christians, but when I look for fruit, I think maybe 5 of them might be. I hear depart from me – my mouth is out of control, and I lash out so quickly with my children. I used to say I thought I was demon possessed for I truly feel like I have no control of myself. Pastors chuckle nervously and pat me on the head, now now sister, you can’t be possessed only oppressed. they don’t know what comes out of me. I know I don’t have the same battles as I did years ago, but it was a long process to get those things out. I need help now. This isn’t acceptable. I’m about to turn 38 and first met the Lord at 11-12. Several times I have deliberately made the decision to walk away from God. I need Him so bad. I don’t know what do. I beg Him for His Spirit, for repentance, for Him to show me… please help. Thank you.

[Bible Answer] Greetings in Jesus’ name. Please know you feed your flesh through the wrong thoughts you entertain. The devil and this world system are always ready to help with this too! TV is the devil’s greatest tool, with secular music being a close second! The battlefield is the mind. From the mind it goes to the mouth:

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. (Mat 12:34-37)

To overcome, you must fill your mind with wholesome thoughts, such as the spiritual truths found in the Bible. God’s eternal truths will wash out the filth you have been pondering. STOP watching TV, porn, etc. and listening to all secular music. Read and memorize Scripture. Ponder this:

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace (Rom 8:5,6)

You can control yourself in the Lord, but you must first get saved. A general characteristic of the real Christian is:

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. (Gal 5:24)

Please know that even IF you do have a demon (or demons) they can’t stop you from coming to Jesus for deliverance and salvation (Mark 5:1-9). You must get DEAD SERIOUS about following Jesus and serving God. You can’t play around anymore, especially in your condition. IF friends, family or places you are going are snaring you, then appropriate changes need to be made there too. You are battling for ETERNITY. NOTHING is more important! Your SOUL is your greatest possession! GUARD THE THOUGHTS YOU ENTERTAIN and be S-L-O-W TO SPEAK:

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. (James 1:26)

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. (James 1:19,20)

Many people, much worse than you have been miraculously saved. How bad do you want eternal life?

Is It Possible To Be A Christian And NOT Go To Church?

As unscriptural as it is, many people still tend to think if a professing Christian goes to church he is saved and will go to heaven in the end!church building In fact, I have heard multiple uninterested-in-the-Bible people say they go to church (any church) as the only proof they are okay with God! Such recently happened during a conversation with a Lutheran, who believed sins are forgiven at infant baptism as he was taught! Conversely, if a professing Christian doesn’t go to church he is often considered unsaved. The Scripture which is used and reused for such doesn’t link salvation to going inside a church building:

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Heb 10:25)

That passage refers to Christians meeting with other Christians for the sake of mutual encouragement! While sound teaching is VITAL and also an important source of encouragement (Titus 1:9), Hebrews 10:25 doesn’t actually mention or infer teaching. That being said, it is extremely important to be:

  • warned of various spiritual dangers,
  • instructed in the Christian life,
  • encouraged to continue to do good and NOT give up
  • worship/praise God, etc.

That can be easily done in a local congregation where true Christians assemble, but ONLY if a qualified pastor is declaring SOUND doctrine. It is impossible to be spiritually helped and benefitted, with the big picture in mind, by attending a congregation where the pastor and/or elder board are not spiritually qualified! Their example alone will be detrimental, not to mention the doctrinal harm being done. To attend these church meetings will have a definite adverse effect on the people who do! I personally know one person who was miraculously delivered from alcoholism and Catholicism who met a person his age, whom the devil used to get him back into alcohol, drugs and illicit sex! That happened because he went to church! For any attendee to go to church where false doctrine prevails will mean the people there will be fed poisoned spiritual food, plus they will observe less than needed spiritual examples and will be sharing in the overall wicked work going on!

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work. (2 John 1:10,11)

To share in the wicked work of a false teacher in our day is VERY COMMON, though not readily noticed. It is overshadowed by the going to church mentality as a spiritual cure-all. That is, unfortunately, the way Hebrews 10:25 has been taught.

Deceived people think as long as they go to church (go inside some church building) everything is fine between them and God! The same people are (surprisingly) hurting themselves and other SOULS by doing so! Imagine that! Remember also that in Mark 1:21-26 Jesus cast a demon out of a person who was in a synagogue (the church of that day)! While Hebrews 10:25 is a definite truth of God, so is the aforementioned 2 John 10,11 and the following passage:

Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.” (Rev 18:4)

In that passage God’s people are told to come out from her (Babylon) to prevent sharing in her sins. NOTE: Rev. 18:4 says share in her sins just like 2 John 10,11. To attend a congregation which teaches another gospel is DEADLY to both the preachers and those who believe such. To faithfully attend the local Catholic church is DEADLY. To faithfully attend ANY congregation which teaches eternal security (once saved always saved) is also DEADLY! The list goes on and on and certainly includes all who teach sins are forgiven at the point of water baptism (infant or adult) or that keeping the Saturday Sabbath is a salvation issue!

A Christian must also consider who or what is indirectly supported. In other words, if a sound congregation, ministry, etc. (which is very rare in our day) is clearly and boldly preaching the truths related to salvation, but in turn is using gospel tracts or literature from those who don’t, such as from Ray Comfort’s Living Waters, then their efforts are counterproductive to the work of God! Ray Comfort’s ministry and literature (as well as many others) are spreading the heresy of once saved always saved. That means such a person or congregation is sharing in the wicked work that such an ear-tickling heretical doctrine is doing through literature which comes from them! On the other hand, to align yourself with a Biblically solid congregation, ministry, etc. is to work together with and share in its GOOD FRUIT:

We ought therefore to show hospitality to such men so that we may work together for the truth. (3 John 1:8)

Producing GOOD FRUIT is a salvation issue:

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. (John 15:1,2)

Just going to church is NOT the spiritual cure-all, nor is it an evidence of salvation. No Scripture can be properly used to say such. In some cases, an evidence of salvation can be NOT attending the local heretical churches! It depends on various factors, especially the teachings going forth throughout the congregation, ministry, etc. To know if such is sound, you MUST carefully read the Bible for yourself. Special emphasis in the New Testament should be taken since that is especially where we learn about the Lord Jesus and how to get eternal life. For your own sake, don’t just trust another’s interpretation, even a loved one’s. Read it carefully for yourself. Your eternal destiny hinges upon it!

Dr. Eben Alexander’s Near Death Experience

In 2008, Neurosurgeon Eben Alexander recovered from a meningitis-induced coma of seven days. During that time he had a heavenly Near Death Experience (or NDE). eben alexanderNow he wants people to know heaven is real and wrote a book, Proof of Heaven! While this doctor is absolutely correct about heaven being real, the basis of his evidence is only his own faulty NDE! Other people have had Near Death Experiences too and testify to a fiery hell-like event! Many of the Near Death Experiences contradict each other and are clearly without Biblical backing! Furthermore, the Biblical evidence of Eben Alexander being a real Christian is also sadly questionable:

Eben Alexander NEVER Held Deeply Religious Beliefs

Since Eben Alexander never held deeply religious beliefs before his life-changing Near Death Experience, how could he have actually gone to the Biblical heaven? eben alexanders book proof of heavenGod’s Heaven is reserved for God’s children and the holy angels. His children are pure in heart (Mt. 5:8) and were radically changed into a new creation by the power and blood of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:17; Rev. 1:5; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; etc.) to live holy lives. It’s true Eben Alexander professed to be a Christian, but the vast majority who profess the same are NOT real Christians:

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Mat 7:21)

Whatever belief Dr. Eben Alexander had prior to his Near Death Experience also never moved him to have a pronounced faith in the afterlife! If you are a Bible-defined Christian, you know something is very wrong with that, yet his Near Death Experience says he still went to heaven! (Similar to that is Crystal McVea’s heavenly NDE as an agnostic!)

Folks, religious deception is very wide-spread. The devil is a good deceiver (Eph. 6:11). The vast majority of people are NOT going to reap eternal life, according to Jesus (Mt. 7:13,14). We must make sure we are basing our spiritual beliefs on Bible passages (2 Tim. 3:16,17) and nothing else, including a Near Death Experience, The Book of Mormon, The Koran, Sacred Tradition, a Vision, a Dream, a feeling, etc. If one has had a true experience from God about going to heaven, his experience will align itself to the evidence found in the Bible about heaven and who goes there. What do YOU have in writing from the Bible, which you base your salvation upon? Do you know the requirements for eternal life? Please don’t allow Eben Alexander’s Near Death Experience adversely influence you.

With The Unbelievers

Jesus said his place would be with the unbelievers! Who was he speaking about? In our day, many professing evangelicals wrongly think only the continuous tense unbelievers in Jesus will be the solitary ONES lost in the end. That is clearly NOT the case, according to Jesus’ teachings:bar drinking

But suppose the servant says to himself, “My master is taking a long time in coming,” and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. (Luke 12:45,46)

Jesus said the man was a servant who had a master taking a long time to come. Jesus is called the master in several Scriptures (Lk. 5:5; 8:8; etc.) and he is also the one who is coming back (1 Thess. 1:10; 5:23; etc.). His return is also a late coming (Mt. 25:1-12)! Hence, the servant of Luke 12:45 was a servant of Christ Jesus, who was his master. He was a believer, who was following Jesus at one point, but something happened. He became a backslider and never returned to God! It all started from entertaining a single thought, My master is taking a long time in coming. After that, he had a behavioral change for the worse. He began to do something EVIL, which he wasn’t doing before! He began to:

  • beat the menservants and maidservants
  • eat and drink and get drunk

In other words, he became a violent drunk. Did he remain saved? Not according to Jesus! Because of his ungodly behavior, He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. So even though he wasn’t an unbeliever, he would still be assigned to the same place (the lake of fire) with the unbelievers! Unbelievers will NOT be the only ones there:

Others will be with the unbelievers, according to Rev. 21:8 and though that list doesn’t include drunkards a similar listing does:

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9,10, NASB) 

Folks, if you reap eternal life or not depends on where you are spiritually at the end of your life, not if you were ever saved. Do NOT be deceived. The saved can become lost and the lost can be saved at the end of their lives, which will change their eternal destinies. Jesus wasn’t joking when he taught the end of the man in Luke 12:45,46 would be with the unbelievers. Neither was he joking when he gave us this:

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mat 10:22)

Jesus has the words of eternal life (John 6:68). Do you know him (1 John 2:3,4)?

Hebrews 6:4-6

[Bible Questions]…I have been raised, and am currently in a church, that preaches eternal salvation. But, I must confess that certain passages in the Bible would always trouble me. Passages such as Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:26-29; and Revelation 3:5 seem to indicate that you can lose your salvation. Hebrews 6:4-6 indicates to me that once you lose your salvation it’s always gone. But, as you’ve pointed out on your website, God welcoming back backsliders into the fold is demonstrated throughout the Bible (e.g. David, Prodigal Son, James 5:19-20, etc.). On your website you indicated that the sin referenced in Hebrews 6:4-6 is eternal sin. What makes you think that? …To me this passage indicates once you fall away, you can’t come back because to do so would be to again crucify Jesus. But, that seems to contradict many other passages of Scripture. I believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and that there ARE no contradictions in the Bible. So, please help me to understand this passage.

Also, if you CAN lose your salvation, where is the line that you must cross to lose it? Every time I sin must I again get saved AND ask forgiveness for my sin?…I’m sorry if I sound like I’m being sarcastic; it is not my intent to be so. But I am trying to find out the truth on this subject because, as you know, it is an extremely important one! I am a sinner. I sin daily, sometimes even on purpose (though usually it’s accidental). But my over all walk is with God: I distribute tracts, tithe regularly, go to church most every Sunday, read my Bible twice a day, pray regularly (not just when I’m in troubleJ), try to help people whenever I can, and try to sin as infrequently as possible. So, every time I sin – given my list of works above – have I then lost my salvation? I know my works are not much compared to many people, but I’m not exactly a flaming sinner either. Please help me to understand this. Thank you for your assistance with this very important matter,

[Bible Answer] Greetings in Jesus’ name. We are very glad you found us. Please know that eternal salvation has nothing to do with the HERESY of eternal security. Eternal salvation is a Biblical term and found only in Hebrews 5:9. It is only given to those who OBEY Jesus. Eternal security is a lie from hell.

You asked about Hebrews 6:4-6, which is referring to eternal sin. We know that because the people referred to there couldn’t be renewed again by repentance (Heb. 6:6), unlike the others who got saved again (Luke 15:24; James 5:19,20; Rom. 11:19-23). Peter also got saved again after he disowned Jesus (Mt. 10:33 cf. Lk. 22:32). Furthermore, we know Heb. 6:4-6 refers to eternal sin because of what we read in Hebrews 10:29 as it refers to the same people. It says:

How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

That is the essence of eternal sin (Mark 3:22-30), which one can’t get forgiven from. Hence, the people of Heb. 6:4-6 could NOT get forgiven of their sins, unlike the Prodigal, Peter, etc. So there is NO contradiction between Heb. 6:4-6 and the verses which state one can come back to salvation after backsliding.

A Christian loses his salvation when he commits sin like the Prodigal, Peter (when he disowned Jesus), those in James 5:19,20 and Rom. 11:19-23! All sin is NOT the same (1 John 5:16,17; etc.). When one commits sin unto death (such as listed in 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Eph. 5:5-7; etc.) he dies spiritually.

You stated you are a sinner. If you are a sinner you need to repent and get eternal life. Like all Christians, I’m a righteous person (who is not a sinner).  They are opposite terms in Scripture. It appears you have been thoroughly misled by the grace changers, whom you have supported! To teach once saved always saved, the eternal security teachers also mislead you over all sins being the same (when they are NOT), that a Christian is a sinner (and Paul was the worst of sinners as a Christian when he wasn’t), that a Christian sins all the time (which implies he isn’t and can’t be obeying)! Obedience to God is NOT WORKS, LEGALISM or CULTIC! Your pastor is a DANGEROUS person who has deceived you. You have helped support his wicked work as he taught his lies. That is NOT good (2 John 9-11)! STOP supporting such demonic teaching and don’t return to such a congregation. It is to your harm that you do! (Have you joined our internet church?)

BE VERY CAREFUL what you teach through the literature you hand out! If it teaches or even implies eternal security, don’t hand it out. Destroy the tracts. They are demonic and misleading. NOTE: You can GO TO HELL just for preaching a false gospel (Gal. 1:8,9) and the real gospel has a CONDITIONAL SECURITY attached to it (1 Cor. 15:2)! Paul knew he could yet go to hell for preaching a false gospel! Designer Religion

Without knowing it, people in our day are actually fulfilling Bible prophecy! How? By believing what they want to believe to fit their own sinful desires. Here is what Paul wrote about this exact event:

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim 4:3,4)

Here is what USAtoday and George Barna stated:

That’s one of the key findings in newly released research that reveals America’s drift from clearly defined religious denominations to faiths cut to fit personal preferences.

The folks who make up God as they go are side-by-side with self-proclaimed believers who claim the Christian label but shed their ties to traditional beliefs and practices. Religion statistics expert George Barna says, with a wry hint of exaggeration, America is headed for “310 million people with 310 million religions.”

“We are a designer society.We want everything customized to our personal needs — our clothing, our food, our education,” he says. Now it’s our religion. (http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/religion/story/2011-09-14/america-religious-denominations/50376288/1, emphasis mine)

The same article went on to read this about a woman:

She drifted through a few mainline Protestant denominations in her youth, found a home in the peace and unity message of the Baha’i tradition for several years, and then was drawn deeply into Native American traditional healing practices. Yet, she also still calls herself Christian. (ibid, emphasis mine.)

[**Both the Baha’a religion and the Native American religion are highly antithetical and incompatible with true Christianity! That same woman who professes to be a Christian (and certainly many others similar to her) are probably victims of the heresy of once saved always saved. Once saved always saved states you will forever remain a Christian, if you were ever saved at any point in your life! To them it makes NO DIFFERENCE what type of sin or false beliefs you fall into afterwards! You will always remain a possessor of eternal life.]

The one main primary reason why these designer religions exist is the sinful, truth-rejecting heart of man. To reject the truth is to reject the dogmatic, narrow-minded (as some call it) message of the Bible. The message of the Bible is for all ages and people because it addresses the spiritual needs of us all, which has never changed. Sin is the problem and the ONLY remedy is the Lord Jesus Christ. It is that simple, but because there are so many false teachers stating the Bible is final authority, yet teaching a powerless gospel (such as eternal security) which can’t set one free from their sin addictions, to many people, Christianity is a joke! Unfortunately, what such people think is Christianity is nothing more than a cheap counterfeit and NOT the real thing! As Paul battled false doctrine in his day, he singled out its inability in restraining sensual indulgence as a way to identify it:

Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence. (Col 2:23)

That is an important point to remember. People claim to have saving grace, yet openly acknowledge they sin all the time. Out on the streets, when evangelizing, I have often heard people, who profess salvation, unashamedly admit that they lust all the time! Shocking but true! Their grace is not Biblical saving grace and neither do they have true salvation. Saving grace is described here:

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2:11,12)

Designer religion is paving the way for the antichrist, along with the ever increasing flood of wickedness. If you are a real Christian, remember: We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14)

Attempted Suicide

[Personal Testimony] Hello I was reading about suicide. Whoever commits suicide they go to hell. 6 years ago I committed suicide. I hung myself in my room. God told my mum go see what your son is doing. She saw me and I kick the chair. Thank God my uncle was here. My mum was screaming for help. He came in my room. To be honest when he was holding my hand satan was killing me, the string [rope] was still in my neck. I remember I was lying in my bed.  My life was going. I saw my room turning into fire. I got scared. I never believed in hell…. Judas committed suicide. He is in hell. He walked with Jesus, stayed with him and he is in hell.

[Bible Answer] God was VERY MERCIFUL to you! Now that you know suicide is not the answer, if the devil tempts you with suicide again, you know the vital importance of resisting his thoughts. Remember Rev. 21:8 and 1 John 3:15.

Suicide is NEVER the answer. People commit suicide because they wrongly think the grave is the end OR they will go to heaven. Neither is true! Instead of such people escaping their pain and misery, they intensify it. Make your life count for God. Be an honor to Jesus, who died for your sins. A PARADISE heavenly home FOREVER can be yours, but you must come to Jesus, according to his terms! Not your own or some preachers. Do you know the Biblical requirements for eternal life? PLEASE TAKE WARNING: There are MANY FALSE TEACHERS WHO ARE ON TV AND RADIO. They can be smooth-talking, Bible-quoting and appear righteous. To guard against deception will mean that you will have to read the Bible for yourself. Start in the New Testament. Read and reread it at least 4 or 5 times carefully. The KJV is too hard to understand. If you have a KJV, get a New International Version or a New American Standard Bible. Make sure your spiritual beliefs are based on Scripture. (NOTE: The Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons are also DANGEROUS FALSE TEACHERS!) The real plan of salvation is different. God bless you. Remember 1 Cor. 6:9-11 and Heb. 3:14.

Mary Lost Her Salvation

You mentioned Mary lost her salvation when she was “to take charge of Jesus” because [she wrongly thought] he lost his mind. Universal salvation did not begin until Jesus died on the cross, which makes your statement wrong about her losing salvation.

[Bible Answer] Greetings in Jesus’ name. Numerous people had salvation before Jesus died on the cross, including Mary at one point. For some strange reason, it seems few know people had salvation then. Here is Biblical proof for you to verify:

Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” (Luke 7:48-50)

But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:8-10)

Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in his salvation. (Psa 35:9)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. (Psalm 51:12)

You used the term Universal Salvation, which is another word for Universalism (the faulty belief that all will be saved). IF that is your belief, please be assured that many people will go to fiery torment, even though Jesus died for all. Here are a few Scriptures:

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat 13:41,42)

Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” (Mat 25:41)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6:9,10, NASB)

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

The truth is, Mary became an unbeliever (when she wrongly thought Jesus was crazy) and lost her salvation because of it, according to Mark 3:21-35! Later she got her salvation back again.
